Sometimes drizzle, sometimes light and sometimes heavy rains are falling all over the upazila. Due to which the lower laws of the upazila have been flooded. Canals, beels, fields, crop lands and ponds have been flooded with rain water. The water level of all the rivers in the upazila has increased. In most of the areas, the vegetable fields planted by the farmers in winter have been ruined.Its effect has started to be felt in the vegetable market. The prices of all kinds of vegetables have gone up. The low-income people, including day laborers, have suffered the most in the continuous rains. They can't get out of the house and go to work. Salam, a day laborer from Gopalpur village in Paschim Chhat, said he could not go to work for seven days due to rain. The family is not running. On Tuesday (September 15) morning, Dulal (35) was talking at the Jamtala intersection of the upazila. He worked as a jogali for Raj Mistry. Dulal said, The sky felt a little better in the morning so I came looking for work but it started to rain. There is no work in hand for 10 days today.If it rains for a few more days, you may not be able to eat.
